Yoga At The Zoo
Join us for a unique and serene yoga experience at the Zoo on April 12th and April 19th! Led by seasoned instructor Christine Rose, these special yoga sessions will take place in different scenic areas of the Zoo, allowing you to connect with nature as you move, breathe, and unwind.
Party for the Planet
On Saturday, April 26th, Celebrate California’s amazing biodiversity and learn about wildlife conservation at Fresno Chaffee Zoo’s Party for the Planet™. The festivities will feature Coexist with Wildlife California educational activities, community resources, food trucks, and entertainment. From planting pollinator gardens to minimizing our impact by leaving no trace, we can all learn to do our part to ensure our unique ecosystems thrive for generations.
Kids Day
On Friday, May 9th, Fresno Chaffee Zoo is excited to host Kids Day to celebrate and recognize Fresno County Superintendent of Schools’ students with disabilities. The event will feature entertainment, demonstrations, educational activities, crafts, food trucks, community resources, and, of course, amazing animals.
Roar & Pour – Spring 2025
Join us for a ROARing good time at Fresno Chaffee Zoo! Experience this exclusive 21+ after hours event featuring some of the Central Valley’s best brews! More information and tickets will be announced spring of 2025.
Ice Cream Zoofari – Summer 2025
Satisfy your sweet cravings by tasting unlimited samples at our ice cream stations including sherbets, frozen yogurt, floats, and sundaes – all while strolling through the Zoo! Guests can cool off at our water play area, Wilderness Falls, and get the latest scoop on their favorite animals and enjoy some fun entertainment! More information and tickets will be announced spring of 2025.
Safari Night – Fall 2025
Fresno Chaffee Zoo’s Safari Night is our spectacular annual gala to support the Zoo’s mission. Guests are treated to an elegant evening featuring a cocktail hour, seated dinner, and beverages, alongside exciting silent and live auctions. The event also includes live music, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for attendees. It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy an evening of entertainment and philanthropy. ZooBoo – Fall 2025
Celebrate the Fall season at ZooBoo! Enjoy lots of fall fun throughout the Zoo including pumpkins, a pirate ship, activities, and candy galore. More information and tickets will be announced summer of 2025.
IllumiNature – Winter 2025
Experience the Zoo in a new light with hundreds of uniquely designed, handmade lanterns glowing throughout the Zoo! Let the nature, interactive, and Christmas lanterns illuminate your night as you enjoy this spectacular event. More information and tickets will be announced summer of 2025.

The Zoo is a great location for corporate parties and group events of all kinds. Our Events Department is trained to take you through all the planning stages to ensure that you have a successful and memorable event, whether it is a casual picnic or a black-tie affair.
Each event has the option of full-service catering, formal or casual setup, and optional Wild Activities including Stingray Bay, Winged Wonders Bird Show, and giraffe feeding.
