All sessions of Zoo Camp foster an appreciation for and understanding of animals and nature through live animal interactions, animal observations, games, arts & crafts, and many other exciting activities. Campers will be grouped by age.

Cub Camp and Adventure Camp Topics
Colorful Creatures – June 12-16, July 17-21
Take a spin around the color wheel to discover nature’s brightest animals and habitats. Discover blue oceans, red animals, green plants, and all the colors in between.
Animal Engineers – June 19-23, July 24-28
Grab your hard hats! It’s time to learn what animals do to create their homes. Nifty nests and wacky webs, we’ll cover all the best builders in the animal kingdom.
I Want to be an Ologist! – June 26-30, July 31-August 4
Biologist, Zoologist, Ornithologist – all the ologists! Join us for a week of discovery and learn about what all the ologies mean and how they connect to and care for the world around you.
Global Zooventures – July 10-14, August 7-11
Adventure awaits! Campers will make their very own Zoo Passport and journey to find unique facts about animals from around the world and at the zoo, including our newest exhibit Kingdoms of Asia.
Our youngest conservationists will learn through games, crafts, and lots of fun! Each class will include a tour of the zoo, an educational animal visit, and hands-on crafts and activities.

*All campers must be 3 years old by the time camp starts and fully potty trained. Cub Camp is a drop off camp.
Calling all adventurers! Join us for a week filled with exploration through nature play, arts and crafts, zoo time, games, and activities. Full Day campers will bring a lunch, two snacks, and a reusable water bottle. Half Day campers bring a snack, a reusable water bottle, and a beach towel for outdoor seating (recommended).

Junior Zookeeper Camp
Our most popular camp is finally back! What is it like to be a zookeeper? Come experience the daily life of a keeper and assist them with tasks in feeding, cleaning, and caring for the animals at the zoo. Junior Zookeepers will also spend time with our Educators learning about animal science and conservation through interactive games, discussions, and projects.
8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
*All campers must be 12 before the first day of camp, no exceptions. Space is extremely limited
Summer Zoo Camp Scholarship
Fresno Chaffee Zoo is pleased to offer Zoo Camp Scholarships to support the financial needs of families that may need help towards camp tuition.
