Saturday, May 11, 2024, is HERO DAY! Join Fresno Chaffee Zoo in celebrating our local heroes: first responders, medical professionals, current and veteran service members, and climate heroes that work together to keep our community safe, healthy, and happy! Help us thank our hometown heroes by attending this daytime event with activities included with the purchase of a general admission ticket. This event will include entertainment, food trucks, community organizations, and other family fun!

10:30 – 11:30 am: Ted Nunes Performance at Kopje Lodge Stage
11:30 am: Award Presentation to Fresno Resiliency Center by Jon Dohlin
11:30 am – 12:30 pm: Sounds of Freedom Band Performance at Gift Shop Lawn
12:30 – 1:30 pm: Ted Nunes Performance at Kopje Lodge Stage
1:30 – 2:30 pm: Sounds of Freedom Band at Gift Shop Lawn
