Plan Your Visit

With so much to see and do it’s often hard to decide on what to do first. Plan your visit to make your day the best it can be.

Zoo admission is $14.95 for adults and $8.95 for children (ages 2-11). Children 1 and under get in free.

The Zoo is open daily!

All guests are required to wear a mask while inside the Reptile House and while feeding giraffes on the Twiga Terrace platform, regardless of vaccination status. Thank you for helping us keep our guests, staff, and animals safe and healthy by wearing your mask indoors and when in close contact with our animals at the Zoo.

We are excited to see you all for outdoor family fun! Pre-purchase your tickets for priority entry to the Zoo. Guests purchasing walk-up tickets may experience a wait, especially on weekends and holidays.

Member entry remains free with no reservations or timed tickets required.

Download the map and visitors’ guide before you arrive for all of the updates on what to expect and what may be impacted by construction.

Before You Arrive

Pre-purchase your tickets for priority entrance to the Zoo. This helps the Zoo manage lines and provide a great guest experience. Guests purchasing walk-up tickets may experience a wait, especially on weekends and holidays.

You can purchase your tickets on our webstore. Tickets purchased online expire one year from date of purchase.

Member entry remains free with no reservations or timed tickets required.

We recommend you review and download our digital map and visitors’ guide before you arrive. The map and guide will be a handy resource throughout your visit and have the most up-to-date information.

Health and Safety Reminders

For the safety of our animals, all guests are required to wear a mask while inside the Reptile House and while feeding giraffes at Twiga Terrace, regardless of vaccination status.  Thank you for helping us keep our guests, staff, and animals safe and healthy by wearing your mask indoors and when in close contact with our animals at the Zoo.

Masks are not required while outdoors for guests who have been fully vaccinated, but they are recommended when social distancing is not possible. Unvaccinated guests should continue to wear masks. We ask guests to take on the responsibility to have any unvaccinated people in their party wear masks. We will not be checking vaccination status. We do offer a mask exemption, including in indoor areas. For the safety of our animals and due to the proximity and contact between guests and animals, no mask exemptions can be made for giraffe feeding at Twiga Terrace.

When You Arrive

Roeding Park can experience longer lines into the park on the weekends and on holidays. The park has two entrances: one on Belmont Ave. and one on Olive Ave. On busy days when the Belmont entrance has heavy traffic, the Olive entrance is a great alternative.

For members and those with pre-purchased tickets, please look for the member/pre-purchased tickets line when you arrive. Please have your tickets or your membership card and photo ID out and ready to be scanned so that we can get you into the Zoo as quickly as possible to start your visit.

Once you have entered, you are welcome to stay through our open hours. We do not have set exit hours, except our closing time.
